If you live in an apartment, and perhaps even a small one,
it is still fairly easy to workout at home. Find a space where furniture is
light and can be moved easily and make it your workout space.
Hand weights are inexpensive at discount stores. Buy a pair
and spend as little as $10.00. If that is not in the budget, try using canned
goods, laundry detergent bottles or two other equally weighty items. ForbesLiving TV staffers have used dining room table chairs for dips and canned goods
as weights during challenging economic times.
Spend a little time with your TV and search the channel
guide for exercise shows. DVR the ones you like and turn it on when you get
home from work, or try it before work.
Dig around on YouTube and find exercise or yoga videos you
think would be fun. Bookmark the pages and use those also in your workout
routine.
Walk. Walk around the mall, walk around a man-made lake,
walk around the neighborhood – just walk.
Want to workout like a celebrity without paying the hefty
price tag? Online personal trainers can be found on FitOrbit for just $50.00. Forbes Living TV also suggests working out
with a friend and being each other’s personal trainers. Have fun.
